Khary Bryan is a native of Bloomfield, CT. From a young age he was raised with the understanding that many of us will eventually grow old and die but we do not necessarily have to become sick before we die. Throughout childhood his parents would encourage the development of moral and mental stamina as a means of preventing hardship. A strong interest in health and science motivated him to attend the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.
During his college years, Khary devoted much of his free time to the study of complimentary/alternative medicine and methods of disease prevention. As a pharmacy major, he understood that allopathic medicine did not cure disease but rather suppress or manage the symptoms of disease. With that understanding came the realization that the majority of prescription drugs were developed to manage diseases of lifestyle, yet at the same time, society encouraged the adoption of disease promoting lifestyles.
Upon graduating with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2001, Khary obtained a staff pharmacist position with the retail drug store chain CVS/Pharmacy. From 2002 to 2003 he served as a consultant for the Connecticut North Central Area Agency on Aging where he counseled low income Hispanic and African American seniors on the safe administration of medication, proper use of glucometers, and positive lifestyle modifications. From 2012 to 2015, Khary held various consultant positions with medical cannabis producer license candidates in the states of Connecticut and New York as well as the companies AlphaCAT/Cannatest and Mcig, Inc. Khary holds pharmacy licenses in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. In 2017, Khary obtained International Certification in Aromatherapy from the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy.
